Dr. Lisa T. Su serves as the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). In 2018, she was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. In 2020, Fortune named Dr. Su #2 on its “Business Person of the Year.” She was elected to the American Academy of Arts & Science, and received the Grace Hopper Technical Leadership Abie Award. In 2021, she was recognized by the IEEE with its highest semiconductor honor, the Robert N. Noyce Medal, and was appointed by President Biden to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Dr. Su also generously supports women graduate students of nanotechnology through Lisa Su Fellowship Fund at MIT. These achievements prove her to be a prominent global citizen making the world a better place for humankind.

Professor Andersson served as Chair of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nobel Foundation, Chief Executive of the European Science Foundation, and President of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Under his leadership at NTU, the school was transformed to a top-level university. With his exceptional contributions to the development of technology and education, he was awarded the Singapore President’s Science and Technology Medal and Singapore’s Meritorious Service Medal. For worldwide recognition, he was bestowed the Wilhelm Exner Medal in Austria.

Name:Barry Lam 林百里

Achievement:
Chairman Barry Lam was born in 1949 in Shanghai. During his Master's degree, he started his first computer project with his classmates in Taiwan and won the first Youth Medal of the Executive Yuan. He then set up Quanta Computer Inc., which is dedicated to progressive research and design in information technology. The company has been highly recognized internationally and by the media. Currently, he is the chairman of Quanta Group. In 2015, he was awarded the "Second Class Cloud Award" by the Office of the President.
Chairman Lam has long been a leader in the field of science and technology. Apart from his professional field, he also has a strong interest in arts and humanities education. He established the Quanta Culture and Education Foundation, which offers a diverse learning platform through art exploration and to inspire creative thinking of children. His achievements in the industry of science and technology and his contribution in education well qualify him to be a model for the school and society. Name:Morris Chang 張忠謀

Chairman Morris Chang was born in 1931 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. He earned a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1964. He once served various roles including Vice President of the Texas Instruments, President of General Instrument Inc., President of Industrial Technology Research Institute, Chairman of Taiwan Intelligence Service Company, and National Policy Advisor of the Office of the President, Taiwan. In 1986, he established the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited and has served as the CEO and the chairman of the board.
Chairman Chang advocates "innovation" and believes that "continuous innovation is the iron rule to maintain competitiveness and is the only way for the industry to continue to thrive." His long-term leadership has led Taiwan's semiconductor industry to boom and his contribution to the society has been widely recognized. With his exceptional credentials, Asia University is honored to award him an honorary doctorate in Engineering, authorized by the Ministry of Education in accordance with the Degree Conferral Law.

Chairman King Liu was born in Shalu, Taichung in 1934. He founded Giant Global Group In 1972, which produces and sells products globally with its self-created brand name- GIANT. Currently, Giant Bicycles is the largest bicycle company in the world. Giant is not only a world famous brand, it is also the pride of Taiwan. Mr. Liu led the industry to transform and upgrade itself. He introduced Toyota Management to enhance its product value.
Chairman Liu is enthusiastic about public welfare. He spares no effort to in promoting energy conservation, carbon emission reduction, healthy cities, and the culture of bicycles. He was responsible for the operation of Taipei YouBike, which has been praised highly in the world. Name:Bruce Cheng 鄭崇華

Founder Bruce Cheng was born in 1936 in Fujian Province, China. He graduated from National Cheng Kung University with a major in Electrical Engineering. In 1971, he founded Delta Electronics, Inc. He is devoted to switching power supplies, power management, electronic components, video and imaging systems, industrial automation, Internet communications and new energy products. Branches of his corporates can be found worldwide. He was once awarded the "Corporate Social Responsibility Award" and "Outstanding Achievement Award."
He pays great attention to the protection of the Earth's environment, advocates "green building" and sponsors various environmental protection activities. His deep commitment to energy education and enthusiasm in public welfare has made him a great model for the society. Name:Charles H. C. Kao 高希均

Achievement:
Founder Charles H. C. Kao was born in Nanjing, China in 1936. He received his Ph.D. in Economic Development at Michigan State University in the United States. He once served as a professor, an honorary professor, and the Chair of the Economy Department at the University of Wisconsin. He was also awarded the honorary titles of "Outstanding Educator", "Outstanding Professor" and "Contribution Award.”
After returning to Taiwan, he taught at National Taiwan University, National Chung Hsing University and National Central University. For government positions, he has successively held several key roles as a board member and advisor at Straits Exchange Foundation, the National Unification Council, the Executive Yuan, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Currently, he is an advisor of the Control Yuan, Chairman of the Global Views- Commonwealth Publishing Group, and the publisher of the traditional Chinese version of the Harvard Business Review.
Founder Kao is concerned with national affairs and has made contributions in various areas, such as the recommendation of talents and advises to enhancement of politics, economy and culture.
